Owner and stylist Jolene Hays has been a stylist since 1983, she started beauty school 1 day after her 16th bday, while in high school. Jolene has done both print and commercial work and freelance hair and make up for private events as well as LA fashion week. Over the years she has become a certified master colorist in almost every color line and currently educates for Kemon of Italy. The color lines Jolene uses and teaches with are of the highest quality she has used to date, Kemon offers both non ammonia yogurt based as well as less than 2% ammonia coloring for maximum grey coverage. They also have a total green line with all plant based pigment for really sensitive clients. Davines is the choice brand for her take home hair care and finish products for much the same reason. Jolene is thrilled that after this many years in her profession stylists have access to such high quality, environmentally conscious, products to keep both the stylist and client healthy and free of the harsh chemicals that she once had to use daily. Jolene never plans on retirement, instead at some point she hopes to volunteer her art with a less hectic schedule but will of course need a go fund me page to live in our beautiful state and be a volunteer 🙂
